CPLP MaB Network present at the 5th World Congress of Biosphere Reserves

Periodically, the World Network of Biosphere Reserves meets to identify priorities, strengthen collaboration, and define a Global Action Plan for the future. The participation of the CPLP MaB Biosphere Reserves Network will consist of two main events:

– September 23: parallel session organized by CPLP MaB, between 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. (local time in Hangzhou, China), entitled “Perspectives and Common Agenda in Promoting the International Decade of Science for Sustainable Development”. It is expected to be a moment of sharing and discussion among participants from Portuguese-speaking countries, with online participation possible through this link.

– September 24: Participation of Professor Helena Freitas (CFE/TERRA), representing CPLP MaB, in the plenary session “Enhancing Global, Regional and Thematic Networks”. The intervention will highlight the importance of networking to promote cooperation among Portuguese-speaking countries, encourage the sharing of knowledge and experiences, and strengthen and develop capacities together.
